Mosac Tile with Teri Applegarth
Learn how to create outdoor mosaic art that will withstand our Central Oregon climate. You will have a real head start into the world of mosaic craft for custom outdoor and indoor pieces. No experience necessary, all supplies included.
Nuno Felting with Tylar Merrill
Learn the art of fusing silk and cotton fabric and wool fiber. We will go through a couple of exercises to become familiar with what fabrics work best and play nicely with different types of wool You will also learn techniques for blending color adding texture effects and leave class with a beautiful scarf, vessel, bowl or handbag. No experience necessary, all supplies included.
Beginning Fused Glass with Ann Cavanaugh
Fusing is the heat bonding of glass elements such as sheets, frits and stringers. Slumping is the shaping of glass into or over a mold. These methods are fundamental to kiln forming. In this class, you will be introduced to both fusing and slumping through demonstrations and hands on work time. You will learn to cut glass, and will design, compose, and fire your slumped work. No experience necessary, all supplies included.
Landscape Fused Glass with Ann Cavanaugh
In this class you will learn to create a very layered dimensional looking landscape, building upon the techniques learned in the beginning class, and getting very involved with the design aspects of the work. Basic knowledge required, all supplies included.
Wooden Jewelry boxes with John Lee
With one single block of wood that is a bit larger than the actual size of the finished box, you will learn a special technique to make a box that at the end appears to have no seams and the hinges are totally buried, unseen at all. A lovely gift.
