FELTING with Tylar Merrill of Thimbleberry Felt Designs

Come learn all about nuno feltmaking – the art of fusing silk and cotton fabric with wool fiber. You’ll learn felting basics and techniques for blending color,  adding texture effects, rinsing, and finishing your projects. We will go through a couple of exercises to become familiar with what fabrics work best and play nicely with different types of wool.  You will also learn techniques for blending color adding texture effects and leave class with a beautiful scarf, vessel, bowl or handbag. You’ll leave class ready to try your own projects at home. Get started now!  No experience necessary, all supplies included.

Fee: $120 per Class
