Artist Statement
I hope my art makes you feel something, which I think is art’s true purpose. I create art using photography. My camera is with me at all times to make sure to capture all the beautiful little things that make life so rich. I call it “Eyecandy inspired by life!” I call it eyecandy because the eye can just eat it up, and a lot of my work is named after sweet flavors. It is usually bright colored, and full of layers and texture. I like testing how far I can take a photo from the original. I enjoy creating modern art, and finishing it with a classic style effect such as oil paint or a sketch effect. My art is a true reflection of what I love most about life.

My name is Amber Dawn Hilton. I love art, and life! I am a 31 year old single mom, a DJ, musician, and graphic artist. My whole life I have always had to participate in the creation of art in some way. I have been successfull at jewlery making, poetry, and music in the past, but in the last few years have developed the self-taught talent for photography and graphic design. This is what most of my time is consumed with these days, and the type of art I am offering through the Donterra Online Gallery. I hope you enjoy!
