Artist Statement
Living in Central Oregon, my paintings are influenced by the beautiful natural surroundings so plentiful in this area. The watercolor medium itself as well as the local landscape and the creatures that share my world are what inspires my paintings.
About Marjorie Cossairt
A local resident of La Pine, Oregon, I moved from the Willamette Valley in 2003. I worked in stained glass for many years and still do today primarily making and selling glass boxes. With no formal education in art, I enjoy being creative and I’ve always liked the Watercolor medium. In 2005 I enrolled in a local three-day class and have been painting ever since.
