Artist Statement
Passionate about life, art, and the creative process, I discovered my artistic abilities and talents through nature. My love of nature and flowers is reflected in my paintings as I use color, textures, and light to create an exciting journey of the senses. While I have explored a variety of mediums over the past several years, my primary satisfaction comes from working with pastels.

My initial works included flowers, still life paintings, and elf-like figures. Gradually, I moved into combining my love for nature with my passion for painting, focusing primarily on landscapes and plein air pastels.

In my work, I use color and texture to help others see the world through different lenses – focusing on the diversity of color, much like the diversity of the human spirit. I believe that we cannot effectively capture the essence of anything and bring it to life, without experiencing it in the context of the environment in which it lives. This is true for the human spirit as well.

My passion for art and painting has contributed to my sense of well-being, richness, and inner peace. My hope is that my work draws others into my paintings and brings them to a place of quiet within.
